My Mom was a wonderful person, she had a hard life, She helped raise her sister and two brothers, working in the cotton fields on a daily basis. She had nine children, she raised 5 of them by herself. She had a major stoke in 1974, and lost all motor skills. She had to learn to talk, eat and walk all over again. She lost her Mother on October 13, 2000, she lost her oldest Daughter Sheila Shorey on January 29, 2002. She lost her Son Larry Gosa on January 20, 2003. Her Son Bill Gosa died on January 20, 2008. Her Son Harold Gosa died on May 24, 2009 She was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2006, after having surgery for that she had another stoke that took her vocals and the ability to eat. She had to be feed thru a tube in her stomack.

We were told September 19, 2009 that the cancer could not be cured and the doctor had tryed several different types of chemo to no avail. Hospice was called in to care for her, and she died on December 3, 2009, at her home in Brinkley Arkansas, with her remaining children by her side. She was a great patient for the hospice nurses, no matter if they had to change the port needle that day or not and hurt her, she always gave the a hug before they left her house. Thank God for Hospice.

She worried about leaving her children behind and how they would do without her, more that she worried about what was happening to her. We love her dearly and miss her everyday.
