MY DAD WAS A VERY GENEROUS,GIVING PERSON.HE ALWAYS THOUGHT OF OTHERS BEFORE HIMSELF.IF HE HAD 10.00 LEFT IN HIS POCKET AND YOU NEEDED IT HE WOULD GIVE IT TO YOU.MY DAD IS MARRIED TO MARYLOU MORRIS,THEY MET WHEN SHE WAS 14 YEARS OLD.THEY GOT MARRIED WHEN MY MOM TURNED 18,MY DAD ALSO SERVED IN VIETNAM AND RECIEVED THE PURPLE HEART.AFTER THAT MY DAD GO HIRED INTO GENERAL MOTORS.THEY HAD TWO GREAT KIDS,MY BROTHER, STEVE MORRIS IV,AND ME, MONICA MORRIS.ALL THE YEARS OF US GROWING UP WE ALWAYS HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. MY DAD CONTINUED TO WORK ALL THE WAY UNTIL UP UNTIL THE TIME HE RETIRED AT 58.HE WORKED AT DELPHI FOR 33 YEARS.MY PARENTS HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR ABOUT 39 YEARS MAYBE LONGER.UNFORTUNATELY,AFTER HAVING HIS RETIREMENT PARTY,WE FOUND OUT HE GOT SICK WITH COLON CANCER IN 2003.THE DOCTORS ONLY GAVE HIM 3 MONTHS.MY DAD PULLED THROUGH FOR A WHILE,CHRISTMAS,NEWYEARS.THEN IN FEB 2004 HE WAS ALWAYS IN AND OUT OF HOSPITALS UNTIL ONE NIGHT HE TOLD MY MOM HE WAS TIRED AND WANTED TO REST A WHILE,HE ENDED UP GOING INTO A COMA.FEBRUARY 26TH 2004, @ 4:17 PM MY DAD PASSED AWAY..WE WERE DEVASTED....BUT WE WERE HAPPY THAT HE PASSED WITH NO PAIN..SO WE HAD A BEAUTIFUL SERVICE FOR HIM,HE HAD A MILITARY FUNERAL AND EVERYTHING...IT WAS VERY SAD BUT BEAUTIFUL ALL AT THE SAME TIME..SO IN THE END ALL I CAN TELL YOU IS THAT MY DAD ENJOYED LIFE TO THE FULLEST AND ENJOYED PEOPLE,FAMILY,FRIENDS,ESPECIALLY HIS FAMILY...THIS WAS WRITTEN BY HIS DAUGHTER AND HIS BABY,  MONICA MORRIS
